To all our wonderful customers who visited Winter Wonders this year, thank you! Your presence made this season truly unforgettable. We’ve loved sharing the magic of winter with you, and we’re so grateful for your support. Winter Wonders has officially wrapped up for this season, but we’re already hard at work planning a redesign for next year to make it our best season yet. With lots of exciting ideas in store for the year ahead, we can’t wait to welcome you back. Thank you for being part of our farm family!!
EGG HUNT UPDATE
We’re sad to announce that our charity egg hunt won’t be happening in 2025. Typically, we hold the event the week before Easter to build excitement leading up to the holiday. In 2024, though, Easter fell unusually early—March 31st—so we scheduled the hunt afterward. Unfortunately, that shift took some of the magic out of the experience.
Organizing an event like this takes weeks of planning and preparation, and this year’s weather has thrown us a curveball. The snowfall has been heavier than the past four years combined. While it’s stunning to see, the deep snow creates uncertainty for our spring plans. We’re not confident we can clear hazards in the woods with snow still lingering, and even if it melts, the ground will likely be a soggy, muddy mess—hardly ideal for an egg hunt.
We’re truly sorry to disappoint those of you who’ve enjoyed this tradition. Looking ahead, the calendar for 2026 and 2027 doesn’t seem promising either, but we’re keeping our options open for the future. Thank you for your understanding!
CUT YOUR OWN SUNFLOWERS IN 2025!
Get ready for a new daily experience at Sandy Hill Farm—starting in 2025, you can cut your own sunflowers! Our front field will always feature at least two rows of vibrant, blooming sunflowers, perfect for picking. Hosting an event or celebrating a special occasion? Come harvest your own fresh sunflowers for just $1 per stem. We’re also setting up picturesque photo spots for you to capture the moment. This is a self-serve adventure, so you can enjoy it at your own pace. Stay tuned to our social media in early June for all the details!
